How do I keep track of an individual’s holiday entitlement?

There are several ways in which you can keep track of an individual’s holiday entitlement. Each method provides a varying degree of detail.

This guide will look at keeping track:

  • Via the employee’s Dashboard
  • Via the employee’s Calendar
  • Via the employee’s Absence Data

Via the employee’s Dashboard

This method will give you a brief summary of an individual’s annual leave including allowance, taken, booked and balance.

  1. Select ‘Employees’ from the Menu Bar.
  2. Navigate to the employee you require from the Employees Tree.
  3. Select their ‘Dashboard’ tab.

Via the employee’s Calendar

This method gives you a comprehensive breakdown of an employee’s annual leave for a single calendar year. In addition to allowances and balances, you can view details of any pending, granted and refused holiday requests.

  1. Select ‘Calendar’ from the Menu Bar.
  2. Navigate to the employee you require from the Employees Tree.

Via the employee’s Absence Data

This method will allow you to view more than just the current year’s data.

  1. Select ‘Employees’ from the Menu Bar.
  2. Navigate to the employee you require from the Employees Tree.
  3. Select their ‘Absence’ tab.
  4. Select ‘Configure’.
  • Select ‘+Add item’ to show next year’s entitlement.

It’s important to note, depending on your permissions, you may not be able to access all of the methods described.
