How do I protect Focus from edits before a certain date?

In order to help preserve employee’s historical data, there is an option in Focus to restrict Users from making changes before a specified date. These restrictions apply to Timesheets, Calendars and the Availability Screen.

  1. Select ‘ System’ from the Menu Bar.
  2. Select the ‘System’ folder from the System Tree.
  3. Select ‘System Setup’.
  4. Select the ‘Employees’ tab.
  5. In the ‘Dates’ section, select the ‘Block Edits Before Date’ box.
  6. Enter your required date via the date picker.*
  7. Save.

* The date you choose is included in the days that are blocked from editing. For example, choosing 01 Dec 2022 means you can only make edits from 02 Dec 2022 onwards. Anything prior to 02 Dec 2022 cannot be edited and an informative message will appear if attempting to do so.
